Excellent running shoes

Excellent light running shoes for me. I have long, narrow feet with a low arch. I can't comment on the arch support as I use custom orthotics with it. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the midfoot and forefoot are well cushioned. The only downside is that the outsole wears out a bit quickly.

Shoe reference: Running

I like these shoes. This is perfect for my running style. I've been using Cortana since they released the first in the series and have used all four versions. They're all great, so I'd take any if I could. Low drop from heel to toe. Light but great pillow where I need it. Ideal for proper running form (without treatment). I've literally bought about 20 pairs of Cortanas since the first purchase. I WISH SAUCONY TO CONTINUE THIS LINE.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • High price

Do not buy from this company

Shoes were tight - no problem. Received a free return label - no problem Bought for $89.90, returned for $49.90 No explanation, just 50% off. Don't trust Hillard Sports!

4 stars for quality, 5 for price

I go back and forth in these shoes. When I first bought them, I fell in love with them immediately. Over the course of a month, I gradually moved away from them and returned to my Kayanos. I've been wearing them again for two weeks and they are great again. Super light, good padding, enough stability for those who need it. And for the price I paid it couldn't be better.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Great running shoes with high mileage

Great running shoes, I reviewed 2 pairs of Cortana 2s and decided to go back and try the 4's. They're lightweight but have a sole that's stiff enough that you feel like you're getting plenty of support from a neutral shoe with minimal drop in height. Felt great on the first run. I find these are good shoes for a long run, I will be using them for my current workouts and the October marathon.

Since the first model in Cortana

Worked with Cortana with Cortana 1. They 3 are very similar. I wear an 11 in these shoes while I wear a 10 1/2 in most other shoes including other Saucony models. Soft yet responsive, flexible yet stable, these shoes have the best upper you've ever tried.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great shoes! Love her.

Here are the shoes I've tried or am currently using as a guide: Brooks Pureflow Version 2, Asics Gel33 Lyte, Asics Kayano 19, New Balance Fresh Foam 980, Saucony Kinvara 3 and 5, Saucony Fastwitch 6, Saucony Ride 7, Saucony Guide 7, Saucony Virrata 1.0, Zoot TT 6.0, Zoot Ultra Tempo 5.0. I may have missed one :) I mainly do triathlon but have done my fair share of running (short and long). In any case, I like to experiment with different shoes for different training purposes. These shoes are awesome! This is by far the most comfortable running shoe I have ever bought. I'm a tall guy, 6ft, 220lbs who exercises 3-4 days a week including runs on the track, sidewalk or trail. My feet are well supported by the arch, heel, and tight but comfortable toe box. I usually buy Nike and Under Armor but this shoe made me a Saucony fan. This is my first pair of Saucony shoes and they not only feel amazing but also look very stylish and I have had several compliments on my shoesโ€ฆ
