Works well with orthopedic leg braces!

My teenage son has braces on both feet and it is very difficult to find shoes wide enough for them. This shoe fits perfectly with the larger width and squarer toe. He wore them for almost two months and held up very well to everyday wear. Will definitely buy again!

    Pros
    • Great shoes!
    Cons
    • The toe box on the 4E is ok, but it flexes a lot in the arch of the foot.

    Very comfortable shoes

This is my second pair of Echelon 7s. Very comfortable and light. Although I'm not a runner, they are great for running and while a bit pricey, they are well worth the money. I would buy them again and probably will if they don't get discontinued.

    • wide toe
    Cons
    • Limited width sizes

Great shoes, you won't regret it!

This shoe saves me from not being able to stand on concrete. I have bought 3 of these so far and will buy more as I wear them. I walk about 12,000 steps a night in my third shift in these shoes. I'll give them a chance for money!

    Pros
    • Orthopedic shoes for working on a concrete floor 10 hours a day. Great price and service.
    Cons
    • I love these shoes but the inner heel lining fell apart on 2 different pairs. The material used there is not durable.

    Very comfortable shoes

These shoes have really improved my ability to walk and run on both the track and the treadmill. Other shoes would hurt my feet or lower legs after a long or intense workout, but these seem to have just the right amount of cushioning and support, especially for tall/tall people. They seem to work well on all surfaces and don't make my feet sweat.

    • Suitable for orthopedics

    Disappointed with durability

I have had many pairs of Saucony shoes over the years starting with my first pair of Saucony Jazz in the 1990's. I have always appreciated the quality and comfort of their shoes. I had high hopes for these Echeolons, especially for the price I paid, but after a few weeks of use they were showing significant signs of wear. The rubber sole under the balls of my feet looked like they had been used for 6 months after only a few weeks. The inner heel slammed onto the plastic after about three weeks…

    Poor Heel Construction: Road Running

I bought them to run. I usually like the brand. I've had this pair for less than three weeks and had a hole in the inside of my right heel. What I noticed were the blisters on the back of my feet. I had to send them back. Also, Revain is usually good with returns, but this time it took over a week to send back to Revain. They sent the shoes back within two or three days and there is still no sign that they even started my return.

    Pros
    • EVERUN outsole construction for improved energy return and consistent cushioning during your run.
    Cons
    • Big and bulky

    Longevity is terrible

Excellent running shoes. Terrible persistence. Fell apart in the shoe after less than 100km. i'm a big guy 260 pounds. The ankle support is weak so the shoes kept falling apart inside. Appealed to Saukoni. I took pictures and they replaced them. The same happened less than a month later. I never called them again and will never buy them again.

    Pros
    • Echelon 6 successor
    Cons
    • Poor instructions

    Great Product: Men's

The Saucony Echelon 7 is well made and easily holds orthotics. However, the fit and performance of the Saucony Echelon 6 is identical. The only difference I can see between Saucony Echelon 7 and Saucony Echelon 6 is the color. I would advise saving money and buying a Saucony Echelon 6.

    Comfort Comfort Comfort

This is the first shoe that fits my flat feet perfectly. I have struggled with knee pain for years and it has decreased by 90%. Deep down I give these shoes a 5 because they are perfect. On paper I give them a 4 for lack of style. They look awkward and it's not that easy. At the same time, these shoes with the transformation would be ideal. In fact, this is my third pair. I know most feet are built differently, but if you're dealing with slightly wide flat feet, give these a try. You made my…

    Took a whole year!

I ordered the Echelon 7 last year and it's finally out of production! Other Saucony models I've tried in the past don't last more than 6 months before needing replacement due to the low profile. They have a thicker and more durable tread and I can finally see the base color of the pad under the tread. As I begin to see this happening, I know it's time to change my shoes. It also took a year for this model to get there! So I place an order for the Echelon 8 and hope to get the same (if not…

Disappointing change in quality and feel

When you put the shoe on for the first time it is quite comfortable but as you wear it in you will feel the uneven construction of the insole. If you pull out the liner, you'll find that the shoe's biggest "comfort" comes from the thick toe box, and the construction under the box is suspect. I had an Echelon 6 and wore it with no problems. I realize the E7 has taken a step back in quality and materials. Compared to the E6, the E7 feels plasticky and cheap.
