📁 Sauder Harbor View Lateral File Cabinet in Curado Cherry Finish Review

Although made from chipboard, this is the nicest filing cabinet I could find for under $500. From a distance of several meters you cannot tell that it is chipboard. Drawers are great for storing our laptops. It holds just as many folders as our old two-drawer filing cabinet. The drawer slides out nicely. The color is perfect; not too red or too grey. As mentioned, assembly takes a long time. I didn't find it difficult or frustrating, just lots of little pieces that need to fit together. I also echo what everyone else is saying about it being well built. For crappy chipboard material, that's not too bad. Very difficult. My girlfriend liked the color so we took it. It should "look" old, but not "be" old. Something of that magnitude. But she's happy with it, so that's all that matters. If you're sending it home, you'll need a cart or a big guy

Upgrade - 1+ year later, 7 months with 50lb printer. This printer stand is fantastic and possibly the best Sauder Harbor View piece I have ever bought. (now 3 pieces, soon to be number 4). We have 2 corner pieces of desk (420474) and I love this style and color The "wood" is multicolored so if damaged it can be easily painted with furniture handles and the wound will disappear Higher than the table If you intend to install this right next to the table it will look little funny.
