Great gift. Also for those who use safety or disposable razors this gift is perfect.

I've only used soap and a basket so far but I've been impressed with the quality of this and the other items I've received. I got this set as a Christmas present because a year ago I decided to switch from the disposable and electric razors I've always used to a safety razor or straight razor. I also felt that the quality of disposable razors had declined over the years and that you couldn't get a clean shave with an electric razor. That thing rocks! Get ready to screw up!

I've been so spoiled for this wonderful little invention since I bought it. I had no idea that something as simple as keeping lather warm could make shaving so much more enjoyable! The handle makes it very easy to hold so you get a good lather and the lugs help keep the lather at the right consistency (not too much water, not too little). Perfect for a razor shave or any shave you want to use shaving soap on!

Fantastic shaving mug!

The pen is great because it's so much easier to hold with wet hands. In addition, the hot water inlet retains heat longer for an even better shave. The fins make it easy to shake off excess soap and the perfect size. It was the perfect Christmas present for my father. He didn't like the typical bowl that comes with shaving brushes because they don't have a handle, so this one isn't perfect!
