Excellent color in painting

Used in acrylic fill. It had a jelly-like consistency, but when mixed with enough Flotrol or Pouring Medium it set it. This required more pouring medium than regular acrylic paint, but oh well. I have to tell you this does NOT work well with glue! Transforms into instant slime!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Damaged bottles to paint on

When I opened the box it was in a mess! Color was everywhere! Two of the bottles were cut and paint covered the remaining bottles, the box and me when I opened the box. Very upset. One of the bottles was only 1/2 full due to a lot of paint leaking.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • A little change

It takes a lot of coats to get the job done.

I love these colors. Went on value/size on this purchase. The biggest problem is that it takes MULTIPLE coats to get a matte finish and a nice metallic look. I'll probably pick a brand that does the job in a coat next time, but I love the colors and my clever designs look good.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Think watery. Don't waste money.

Disappointed with this paint set. First, it's so thin and watery that it takes multiple layers to fully cover it. When I read "heavy" in the description, I was expecting full coverage. I painted a piece of dry clay with a gold finish and it was awful! I had to wait for it to dry and use a gold marker instead. What a waste of money. Second, the color of rose gold is more similar to copper. I personally didn't like the color at all, and it wasn't what I was aiming for either.

Pros
  • Perfect for artists of all ages, including beginners
Cons
  • New competition arrived

Great Deal: Paint

They were $15 when I bought them which is very reasonable compared to other metallic colors. So much so that I bought 6 quantities of this 3 bottle pack. I've painted with them on multiple surfaces and they behave exactly as you would expect acrylic paints to. They also mix very well with each other and with other acrylic paints. You can mix almost equal parts of these three colors to get a really nice gun metal color. Add some black gloss to make it even better. You can also mix them with…

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Tempera is NOT permanent - the customer should know

Tempera is NOT permanent - a second coat (onto wet or fully dry tempera) will offset the first Layer. Acrylic paint is permanent and available in metallic colors. These metallic tempera paints dry great, but don't count on more than one coat or you'll get frustrated. These metallic tempera paints dry to a beautiful lustrous finish, but they are water soluble and the first coat will literally slide off when you try to apply a second coat or try to create a shading effect with acrylic or other…

Pros
  • Produces high quality images with a simple brush stroke

  • Not bad but...
