Very big and very sharp

VERY big and pretty sharp. Large enough for worsted yarn. We use them with #3 crochet thread in the first craft sewing classes for grades 2-4 students. When they get used to the threads, we gradually give them small needles and threads.

Pros
  • Great for embroidering on canvas, wool and Aida
Cons
  • So far so good

I use these needles for hand embroidery on landscape quilts that have multiple layers of fabric. The large size and eyelet make it easy to pierce the fabric and also allow thick thread to be used. This is perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • The large size and eye make it easier to pierce fabric and use thick threads
Cons
  • High price
