almost perfect fit, got this for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 after removing an OEM fan motor that had this installed and noticed the rubber breather hose connector was misaligned just enough to not quite line up. I was able to stretch the hose to fit, hopefully it stays in. The fan runs normally at all speeds.

There is a hose that goes from the airbox to the fan. I think it's some form of engine cooling. This fan has no hole in the motor case to attach this hose. It also makes a lot of noise, but the air doesn't pump. Reading other reviews < it might be the other way around.

Mine turned the wrong way like the others. Liked the advice I read in the comments to see which way the old unit is lit before turning it off and to check which way the new unit is turning before fully installing it. Replacing the wires in the bundle was easy, which makes me think about quality control. 🤔

Wrong polarity had to reverse the fan case to align the screws, also a large vent in the motor case was causing the vent line to keep falling out I thought that I would have paid a bit more for a higher quality product but it still took an extra hour to install once, although the motor is strong and doesn't run on the case we'll just have to see how long it lasts

For the price you pay it is very expensive but be careful because I had to disassemble the dashboard 3 times thinking my vent doors were broken because the fan comes on but no air out the ventilation holes. . Turns out the Polaris was backwards on the fan motor so instead of blowing air out of my vents it was going the other way, so I made a cut in the wiring harness where it connected to the wiring harness and tried that and bingo, I got it now air My vets are coming out of anything and…

This is a great buy if you are on a budget. I have a Dodge Ram 2500 1997 12v and it fits perfectly. My engine burned out and I needed a cheap easy fix and that's about it.
