Got this for my son. I liked the hanging feature but when I got it I realized I couldn't hang it because a light project would turn dark if I left the top on. And the batteries run out very quickly. But in addition, I connected it to the mains with its own cable and additional plastic projection screens of different designs.

Very neat projector great for kids before bed it took me a little time to figure it out you can remove the top part to put the ball on the projector to project ceiling and walls. Put the lid on and you get a beautiful colorful night light. Very functional with color selection and flashing mode as well as rotation effect. Very happy with this purchase, looks very well assembled, well packaged and has good instructions.

Very good BUT if your child is fascinated by this light and can't keep it out of reach, expect it to always come in 3 pieces. Made of very light plastic, the star cap simply sits on top of the mechanism that rotates it. It's a blessing because it would have broken so many times if it wasn't so easily detached. I just want the stars to be visible on the walls/ceiling when the hard plastic cover is in place.

I set the brightness to 3 because it's not bright at all on battery power. When it's connected, it's very bright. Something happened to our first one. Something was free. We set a timer, changed colors etc and it just turned off. The company sent us a replacement for free! My kid actually used it. She gazed at the stars until she fell asleep. They can have bright light or dim light. I found red the most boring.

I was very skeptical about the price of the flashlight but now that I've had it for a week I think it's worth every penny. It has a nice compact design which is great because it doesn't take up too much space in his room, it's also small enough that he can carry it around whenever he wants. We both like different color lighting options. My favorite features are the timer and the ability to project it onto walls or just make it glow like a regular lamp.

My favorite feature is the timer. I like that it doesn't work all night and I can adjust it based on how quickly the baby falls asleep. The colors are very bright but soothing. I wish it was a little quieter, but I think the hum gives it some white noise effect. I like this black a lot more than the blue we had. It's a lot thinner. A nice long cord to plug into an outlet and covers the entire room, including the 13ft ceilings, in colorful stars.
