Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges, Pack of 6 - Gentle yet Powerful Cleaning Review

Fracture split into two sponges after one use. Standard dishwashing detergent in hot tap water. Nothing unusual. I ordered 6 pcs. I've been using this type and brand for years and have never had this problem. Unfortunately I've now used 2 so can't go back.

I've been using these sponges for a long time but the latest batch smells like old sponges much quicker than the others I've used. They last about a week before I have to throw them away while the previous ones lasted much longer. I will unsubscribe from them.

We have long used Scotch-Brite, the more aggressive yellow and blue. This is the first and last time I will be ordering them in bulk from Revain. They are very thin, a bit too similar to the cheap $1 Scotch whiskeys sold in stores. They don't last long, aren't good for anything other than a light wash if desired, and are essentially disposed of in a week or two. Costco sells genuine items in bulk, so we'll stick with it from now on.

Sponges 3/5 fell apart within the first week of use. I mean I bought a 5 pack hoping it would last a year as I don't use sponges that often. I only use them for my essentials and cat supplies. I ordered strong sponges for cleaning pots and pans. The photo shows a thick curved sponge. I have not used scratch resistant sponges (both Scotch-Brite and similar brands) in over two decades. Like everything else, the Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges succumbed to a desire to make things cheaper and charge more in return. Create a respectable brand name and then destroy it with cheap products that carry the old brand name but fall nowhere near the quality of the old respected brand name.
