Somewhat skimpy rags

These plastic rags aren't quite what I expected. They're a lot flatter than the dollar store type. You feel harder. You could use more layers of plastic. On the other hand, I don't think they will come off the center like they do in the dollar store. At the gathering point in the middle of the terrain, the ends are fused together. I think this prevents untangling. Until they scratch my nonstick pans, which is one of the reasons I bought them.

Pros
  • Not just useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • I doubt it

Try Another Product

After the "Tuffy" scrubbers were discontinued, these scrubbers were tried. The description says the Scotch-Brite scrubbers are made in the USA (they're not, they're made in China). Scotch-Brite scrubbers didn't clean as well as Tuffy and didn't last as long, which is probably why there are three scrubbers in the pack. 3M usually makes great products, with the exception of Scotch-Brite scrubbers. Scrub-Daddy scrubbers are better, last longer, and cost $4 each compared to Scotch-Brite scrubbers.

Tuffy Replacement - Cleaner

I use these before using SOS Pads or Green/Yellow Scotchbrite sponges. I soak dirty pots and if you use an SOS pad or a Scotchbrite pad they clog up with old food. These pads have a fairly open weave, allowing you to scrape any leftover food out of the pan and then easily rinse the pads out. I used to use this technique with a VERY old Tuffi pad I found in the back of the cabinet under the sink. Tuffy Pads are no longer available, but they work the same way. I am happy with the purchase.

I have to give these 5 stars

These are very good quality plastic brushes. I've had trouble finding good plastic scrapers for non-stick pans. Other scrubbers fall apart quickly. I figured I would need a bag of these, at least three in a month. But no, they really last a long time and are great for hot water. They won't scratch my nonstick pans and leave them as good as new. Works great with some hot water, vinegar, and baking soda. After the station, I use the dawn to clean the remaining fat from the sides of the pots…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal for peeling vegetables

I bought these scrapers solely to peel vegetables. I've been using Dollar Tree Brillo pads for years. As long as these scrubbers are around, I won't buy any brillo pads. These scrubbers effortlessly remove dirt from vegetables. They also allow me to skin the roots so I don't have to peel them anymore. They won't fray or leave strings like Brillo Pads. They fit perfectly in the palm of my hand so there is no strain on my fingers. I highly recommend these vegetable washers.

  • Great price

It's pretty bad, best in cleaning products

They don't do very well compared to dad's brush and sturdier yarn/nylon dishwashing brushes. It seemed to me that I was scrubbing the dishes a lot harder than the aforementioned washcloths. There's a lot of 'cleaning' in this review, lol. As for cleaning these guys up after you're done with your arm workout, it's like a plastic mesh that food and dirt get into, so you're wasting water trying to get everything out from under the layers. Scrub papa or non-brand versions of this product, they're…

Ideal for fiberglass bathtubs!

So many people talk about this dish and scourer, but I needed something to get the hard, stubborn dirt off the floor of my white fiberglass bathtub - and this steel-plastic pad wool did great is working! Sharp enough to cut through dirt I couldn't remove any other way, but since it's all plastic it doesn't damage the finish of my tub (even when I strain my muscles cleaning/scraping). If your fiberglass tub has stains or grime that are difficult to remove, simply buy these Scotch-Brite cleaning…

EXCELLENT For pots, BAD for countertops

We love it. They don't retain odor like regular sponges and do a great job of cleaning dishes, pots and pans. If you're looking for a replacement sponge for cleaning items like countertops, this isn't it. It doesn't hold water well so it's not suitable for things that need wiping. If you have a dirty area of the countertop that needs cleaning this is fine, but for general wiping down tasks this is a poor choice. Because it's nylon, it doesn't retain odors and bacteria like regular sponges, and…
