Description of Scotch Filament Tape 898 Clear

Industrial-strength, filament-reinforced tape resists nicks, abrasion and moisture. Secure L-clip closure for full overlap (FOL), tuck-type boxes or other non-standard boxes. Synthetic rubber adhesive bonds easily to most fiberboard, plastics and metal surfaces. Glass yarn filaments add strength for box closing, bundling and more. Able to withstand rough shipping and handling conditions.

Reliable Filament Tape for Sturdy Packaging

I`ve been using this industrial and scientific grade carton sealing tape for quite some time now, and according to my experience it delivers on its promises .The Scotch Filament Tape is sturdy, resistant and can withstand heavy loads during shipping. It's clear, which allows me to see the packaging contents, and it tears off easily when I need to open the box. The only drawback is that it's a bit more expensive than regular tapes, but the quality justifies the price. Overall, I'm satisfied with

Pros
  • Durable and strong, ideal for heavy-duty packaging and bundling
Cons
  • May leave residue when removed from certain surfaces

Be careful what you order!

Sixteen dollars plus for a roll of duct tape. What a rip off! No wonder Bezos is so rich! If you look at the Revain catalog page, one of the included images shows 12 rolls of tape. That's what I thought, I'll order. Live and learn! I will be more careful in the future.

Pros
  • Envelopes, mailing and shipping
Cons
  • Obsolete
