An anchor lock system for small boats in still water fishing situations. Tough construction and roller bearing for smooth, quiet operation.Scotty Anchor Lock model #276 includes No. 241 Combination Side/Deck Mount. Easy lock and release action allows anchor line adjustments. For use with rope up to 1/2′′ diameter (rope not included). Mount Dimensions: 4” x 2” x 2”; Bolting Dimensions: 1 5/16” x 3 3/16”.

Well built, works as advertised and a bit pricey.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but the product is very well made. Haven't installed it yet but I pulled a rope through and it works as advertised. Overall I think the price is a bit high, but it's very basic and does the job. The top section detaches from the base, allowing you to install and then replace the top mechanism. Overall I think it was a good purchase.

Great for attaching a kayak

It's quick and easy to put on and take off my kayak when the line and anchor are connected. A great simple invention is mounted on a stand and can change the angle of inclination. Set the anchor with one hand by lifting the line and simply threading the line through the anchor lock. Raising the anchor is almost as easy. Using both hands, lift and pull the leash back. Just use the line management system to tangle-free, clear the deck and you're good to go.

It's Scotty, what can you say? Certainly well done!

That's the name we trust! I bought a few different rod holders from other manufacturers because of the odd rail size that didn't fit Scotty rod holders. Then threw them away after one broke. Replaced them with Scotty rod holders and made some spacers to allow the attachment system to work. The processing and plastic quality is simply great. No I don't work for Scotty, I only use them as I used to go fishing with my grandpa when I was a kid.

NOT ALL EQUIPMENT INCLUDED!

I hate NOT including the damn hardware needed to install this product. Be careful! You must purchase a base plate which is REQUIRED for installation! I bought some extra mounts for my two yaks and they came with everything needed but I'm sure customers will have $5-6 more :-( I plan on installing this AFTER I order the skid plate but if that thing doesn't work I won't make life that easy when fishing I will never buy a Scotty IDK product again as I've missed it it didn't have everything you…
