After a few weeks of use, the button is bent half a circle, so I think I need to be more careful when pressing it. The inner bristles bend inward and block the soap from dripping directly, so I'm probably using more soap than intended as it builds up in the bristles before dripping. Bad to terrible, design flaws. If you do not want the washing-up liquid to drain completely the next morning, the mechanism will not close and will not work as intended. You have to press down for the dish soap to spill out, but instead it just spills all the way out. Time fast without printing. I was hoping for a refund as Amazon sometimes does for small items but they want me to return the brushes for an Amazon credit. I've had the tried and true OXO Good Grips for years and when it bit the dust earlier this year I bought another only to find that the latest version is VERY weak on the critical part ( where the brush screws into the hand dispenser) and broke after a few months of regular use (no abuse, no dripping, etc.). So. They look well made for the money. I've tried brushes that don't have a spring-loaded dispenser and they all drip constantly. This brush uses a spring loaded plunger and will not leak. I have used a similar GV brush which has a spring loaded plunger but only a friction top (does not screw down). The top kept coming off which sometimes squirted out a lot of soap.
