Fragile wood, hard cotton

The wood is surprisingly brittle. I use them to clean my gun and I certainly didn't expect the wood to be durable, but it fell apart in my hands. Several tampons broke into 3-5 pieces. It was actually kind of weird, and I even stopped for a second when it happened and giggled to myself. I'm not a nut, I wasn't heavily armed with tampons, that was weird. like qtips. So they don't absorb very well. In comparison, the cotton swab is soft and somewhat fluffy and picks up particles well. They are…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons

These are the exact Q-Tips you see in the vet's office. They are much stronger than regular cotton swabs and in my opinion a lot safer when cleaning your cat or dog's ears. This is because the stiff grip means you can actually feel the ridges you are brushing in your ears. I would highly recommend this product as the cost is very cheap compared to what is available on the market but you are not paying for the lack of product quality. I found it much easier to clean pet ears upon receipt and…

Look before you jump. Extremely bad value. DO NOT BUY THESE!

I didn't know they sell 100 cotton applicators for 8 cents per applicator. What a complete and complete plagiarism! Go to another gun supplier like Brownells and for about the same price you can get 500 applicators for $11.99 (2 cents each) or 1000 applicators for $17.99 (1.7 cents each). There is nothing special about this product that justifies paying 8 cents for an applicator, a complete rip off. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! That's a very bad value. On a positive note, Revain refunded my payment.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

This is a good product for people who clean their guns and hobbyists!

I use them to clean my pistols and rifles. I like that I can get into hard-to-reach places to clean gunpowder residue. The swabs are stronger than the flexible plastic swabs on regular cotton swabs. I like that they don't bend easily and allow you to clean hard-to-reach places. If you really love cleaning your guns then this is a must have item. Cleans the slide and trigger area of my AR15 very well. They were supplied by Revain and I received them within two days. The strength of the rod and…

Waste of money on cotton balls and swabs

These items have been shipped here for ages (from China it turns out) and when they did I found them to be of poor quality. The idea of using them is to clean weapons in hard-to-reach places. You will find that a slight pressure on it is enough and the birch stick will break in half. I think you're much better off using regular cotton swabs or making a swab out of a longer tool. On the other hand, it was a cheap experiment. Fail! Also: Regarding Revain: More and more overseas items seem to be…
