Love it. The water is crystal clear. Just a shame they didn't make it in smaller packages. It's wholesale that you can pack into your own media bundle. This will be my new way as it saves money. Regular monthly shifts with a pre-filled bag would be a waste of good charcoal.

I'm new to the hobby (about 2 years) and have used this and Chemi Pure Elite. I prefer this product because it rinses off very quickly with water compared to Chemi Pure Elite which never rinses off completely. My nitrate levels remain very low (at or near undetectable with the Red Sea Nitrate Pro test kit) and I've personally never seen a significant drop in phosphate with Chemi Pure Elite (should help with phosphate as well). I use it with a 100ml Purigen bag and can attest that the water in my 29 gallon container is not only perfectly clean but also free of any strong pungent odors. other media works great with the Penguin Biowheel 150. It's not too tall/wide and sinks to the bottom of the Penguin media chamber, allowing all the water to flow through your choice of mechanical media.
