Honestly there's only one thing that really bothers me about Purigen and that's the sheer volume of solids that has to be flushed and emptied out of the damn bag before it's done. to get into the filter without small beads/resin chunks spilling out of the stream. Does a great job of purifying water from organic waste. It also keeps some toxic chemicals under control as they are organic waste that turns into harmful nitrogenous chemicals in your tank.
