Replaced defective connector with this one. Installed with silicone sealant. It doesn't leak. What more can you ask for?

Only installed for a week. Although everything works fine, some boats may experience problems if more than one drain plug hole is in the same area (can interfere with each other).

I used this on a Coleman 24 Can Party Stacker Cooler because I fill the cooler with sous vide cooking water. It fits perfectly in the 1" hole with the recommended screws. We used silicone glue before screwing it in and it doesn't leak at all. Draining the cooler was easy, it unscrews very easily. Due to the thickness of the cooler, it protrudes inside came out a bit so thought of cutting it shorter I'm happy with how it's working.

I already have the same transom plug on my boat. Since the standard rubber plug doesn't fit in these holes, I bought this as a spare in case the original fails. I really only need the screw-in insert, but for the price it's a plus to have everything including a socket. If I just want one connector I can take it from the kit and screw it into the one on the transom. If I ever need to replace the entire kit at the rear, I've got it.
