    What a horrible quality, wasted money for nothing.

    At the moment, four people have confirmed to me that their Seagate drives also flew during the year. this is exclusively my experience, but the loss of data from the disk for me even covers its cost at that time 8t (I bought it for Amazon)

    Pros
    • Initially, everything was fine, a month later the disk suggested formatting, after which it worked again, but three weeks ago it died. Thus, a 5TB disk worked for me for about a year and a half and broke with the motherboard (meaning that it was not dropped + the cooler and power are working, the wire is also working)

    • I'm looking for a way to recover data, so Seagate is now one big drawback for me

    I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

    I had to use a life hack - I cut out circles (legs) from rubber and glued it to the bottom with cheap superglue. Now it does not slip on the surface. And why didn't Seagate think of this before :)? ! With its pros: Looks stylish. Aluminum housing. The usb cable is securely and tightly connected (this is important). Rather quiet. Has cons: Virtually invisible LED indication when copying/reading. There are no rubber feet. The disk slides on the surface (but this is solvable)

    Good product for me, no problems at all.

    Excellent data storage medium; highly recommended. The average recording speed is 45 mb, and the sound is barely heard in compared to that of a wd 4tb, which is loud and operates with a boom.

    I do not recommend spending your money on this.

    I pray it lasts forever. The 5 TB model of the previous Seagate hard drive was substantially quicker, however difficulties began appearing only a few weeks after purchase.

    A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

    Pros below: Smart, silent, practically does not heat up, it was determined without problems by the Asus ax5400 router (though I had to reformat it to ntfs) - I use it as a media server storage. Different cons: When you try to connect via USB 2.0, the power is no longer enough - the system detects it, but falls off when reading or writing.

    I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

    I'm not sure if my opinion will influence your decision. While plugged into my laptop, my disk crashed. We were able to retrieve 90% of the files. Of of the four CDs, we were able to decipher three, although it took a month of labor and 850 Belarusian every day. Hence, avoid dropping external drives.     Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

    It has a color scheme that is congruent with the router. Yet, the metal housing is not just a resonator, which means that it contributes to greater cooling, but it is also a source of small monotonous noise (you can hear it at night). The problem can be fixed by placing a soft weight on top or by applying a sticker that absorbs noise.

    It's an awesome 1 TB external hard disk from a reputable company for the price. My PC has a hard drive with a lesser capacity. I keep everything at home, including videos, games, and images. I don't trust any cloud storage, not even for documents. I frequently connect to the TV, and everything is properly detected. It is easy to carry around because it is a small box that fits into any bag or briefcase.
