Smaller, thinner rims. Blue is a stylish light blue. you are doing great work

I bought 3 to replace my 2012 external drive when I bought a new Win10 PC. All 3 drives work great. I bought everything in blue. Very pretty. They are lighter and thinner than the previous ones. I had to buy longer cables for them. The cable that works with them is very short. Made to use a laptop but not to install a desktop PC.

NOT RESISTANT - External hard drives

I have recovered about half of the data so far. It was an arduous process of keeping the cord a certain way (yes, I changed it a few times) while crossing my fingers in the hope that things would move. I suggest you keep looking.

WAS Extremely slow, best on external hard drives

I wanted to store multiple MKV video files, each around 1GB. I got transfer speeds of 6-12 MB/s when copying files. It didn't matter if I was copying multiple files or doing a single file transfer. The disc has good reviews and is often described as very fast. I almost got it back. I tested the drive with HDTune and the speed ranges from 128MB/s to 90MB/s. Normal good performance. I did some research and did everything that was suggested including reformatting to NTFS (it was formatted asโ€ฆ

Get ready to fail!

I have bought 5 of these drives in the last 6 months and have used them for both Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner on several new iMacs bought in March/April. 2 of them are already FAILED (less than 5 months in production)! I first spent an hour on the phone with Revain tech support (because I was trying to get a refund). I was sent to Seagate for another two hours of interesting and stimulating Hindinglish talks. I have confidential company documents on both failed drives, so I don't want to

Small warehouse with large capacity.

This device can store a lot of data in a small, compact memory. I love having a portable hard drive so I can backup my laptop because they are notorious for glitches or crashes and tired of losing all my photos, music and college. Ideal for all your storage needs.

Software not working - EDIT: hard drive fell apart after 2 months

The backup software has many problems, basically it creates a new archive every time it creates a backup. It should only update new files and files that have changed. Fail. Hardware works well, 3 stars for that. Edit: The hard drive started crashing the computer, after I removed it the problem was resolved. I filled out the RMA information and even though it's been 2 months they want me to pay for shipping. My advice, go to Western Digital. I'm having trouble transferring at USB3.0 speed, butโ€ฆ
