This is not electroplating, but painting. fits well and works for a spare holder but the lack of immersion is very disappointing.

Works well and fits my 5x4.5 lug wheels. As others have said it is a painted finish but still looks great. The equipment seems to be of poor quality, but for the price it lives up to expectations.

The description says it will fit frames 2" to 3" thick but that is not the case. The included screws are actually 4 1/4" long and the threads are only 1 3/8" too short to fit snugly in a 2" per inch frame. In fact, this works from a 3" to a 4" frame. It's not a big deal to get shorter zinc plated bolts, but the extra cost and hassle/effort. The plating feels solid and the welds fit well, so overall this is a well made one for the price Product.
