Expensive but good - Lubricant

Recommended for our new 5hp 80 gallon air compressor to validate warranty. this is our second oil change and should last another year. The disadvantage is that a liter of oil is expensive. Luckily we only needed a Qt.

Essential for Ingersoll Rand Compressors

Using this synthetic oil doubles the warranty on my Ingersoll Rand air compressor so I don't mind the added cost of regular oil. IR also claims it's much better for the compressor than regular oil and they might be right.

Coolant or lube it's the same

I have a new IR SS5L5 and it's filled with this lube (coolant). I was very confused because the bottle I got from Revain had a slightly different label that said 'coolant' and not lube. I called IR and they assured me it was the same. They pretended the label change was accidental, but the bottom line in this case is the same as the lube.
