The board comes with a 20-20KHz electret microphone soldered on. Using the MAX4466, an op-amp specifically designed for amplifier. For the best performance, use the "quietest" supply available (on an for Arduino, this would be the 3.3V supply). The amplifier has excellent power supply noise rejection. This breakout board is best used for projects such as voice changers, audio recordingmpling, and audio-reactive projects that use FFT.

Impressive Amplifier for Improved Home Audio

Using THIS amplifier, our team found that the sound quality was greatly enhanced for our home theater setup. The adjustable settings allowed for customization and the compact size made it easy to install .However, the instructions could have been clearer for those new to audio equipment. Overall, highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their home audio system..

Saved for another project

This Seazoon 1pc GY-MAX4466 Electret Microphone Amplifier works fine, but I ended up using something else for my project. The main reason was its sensitivity to noise or ripple in the power supply.
