Total crap! on my review.

So we were worried about the strength of the magnet to begin with but tried installing it anyway to check it out. My husband even predrilled the holes for the screws beforehand and the shaft of the screw broke off the head immediately so now it's stuck in there forever! Probably rendering that area useless for the rest of time to even try to install any other new hardware. Buyer beware! Pretty sure these magnets won't keep anyone out of your cabinets. This is the worst product I've ever bought…

Defective Design and Manufacturing

Product is a defective design, (see pic with void) plastic plunger broke within a couple months. Was fortunate enough to be standing to the side when this broke as it shot across the room (over 12 feet) ricocheting off the wall and coming almost all the way back. The spring has a lot of force! Would have been painful if it had hit me at close range.

Pros

I liked the ease of installing. Stronger magnets would make it perfect.

Cons

They may be difficult to install for those who are not used to DIY projects.

Just what I needed for my opinion

I ordered this for a very large cabinet door and it seems to be working very well. The adjustment holes were reasonable and allowed enough room to ensure I had it correct. The latch is nice because it gives just enough push to open but not swing it too far.

The pack may not be enough for larger households with multiple cabinets.

Strong and easy to install

I used these for my 90” IKEA pax doors, and they’ve worked beautifully. They were easy to install, and they are strong enough to push the doors (I installed in the middle height-wise to ensure there was enough oomph).

Good quality. It works perfectly in my cabinets

Cons

They may not be suitable for cabinets with thicker doors, limiting their application.

Worked perfect for our custom built cabinets! Easy to install, easy to adjust and flawless operation. Highly recommend!

Works better than any other

I changed from the shorter throw catches which didn't work for my cabinets. Now my cabinets open and close great. That's my review!

Pros

Great for not having any handles on closet doors.

2 latches did not hold heavy drawer.

Magnets too weak good for me

I bought these "heavy duty" latches to secure a hidden door. They came with a tape-on magnets and luckily screw on magnets. The issue is the magnets are so weak they have very little holding power for my hidden door. Good design, but magnets are too weak to be considered heavy duty.even with me using two.
