I bought my watch new in 1982 on the stock exchange. These are great watches. I have had to replace the strap 3 times over the years. After a while, the fasteners wear out and can be easily loosened. I bought this along with a super anniversary strapcode for my SRPD61. Strapcode (V-shaped clasp) was very heavy, very strong. I would have kept it but the end connection holes didn't line up with the lug holes on the SRPD. This anniversary bracelet from SEIKO looks similar, is slightly more flexible and much lighter.
