Bought these to replace the magnetic clips on my 2017 Lance TT. Fits perfectly. I removed the old latches and wiped the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue. Stick the adhesive pads onto the latches, secure and use the screws provided in the kit to complete the installation. Super easy process. Do the prep work!

I didn't have original magnetic holders for the basement doors. They lasted about 4 years before the sun ate them. The material they are made of seems very similar to the previous ones. For the price and the fact that they are made in China I think that's to be expected. It's okay to replace them, it's just annoying to have to do it so quickly.

After the two folding door latches on my motorhome broke I had to constantly find ways to prop them up by opening and swapping them in and out. They were easy to install. I didn't even bother to install them on the door. I just lined it up where the locking pawl was sticking out. This piece sticks directly to the RV's high power magnet. What difference can matter.

I've wanted to upgrade this for a long time. They work great, I don't know why I waited so long. I used both double sided tape and screws. The screws provided were too long to attach to the door. I had shorter sheet metal screws that worked. In general I am very satisfied. Haven't really used them for camping yet, but when I'm just working around the house with an RV they seem to work great.
