Great sleep mat - my new review

This is really neat for those who don't need a lot of padding under their sleeping bag. I bought this for my granddaughter for sleepovers. It's easy to inflate - just open the valve and it does it itself. Close the valve until ready to deflate - then open valve, fold in half, and roll up tightly (deflate pillow as well), and then use straps to hold together to put in the included bag. Nice and small package for traveling!

Pros
  • The SEMOO camping pad is compact and can be easily stored in a backpack, making it a great option for backpackers
Cons
  • May not be the best choice for backpackers who prioritize minimalism

More comfortable than lying on a hard floor.

It will do for the purpose that I purchased the sleeping mat. It does self-inflate, and does provide cushion against the hard floor. If you are over 5'4", it may not be the best. I am 5'5" and barely fit on the mat. If you are a heavier set (and wider) person, the mat provides support, but it may not be wide enough for you. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do. The pillow does provide support, is easy to inflate, and you can adjust the amount of air to adjust the firmness of the…

Pros
  • With a thickness of 1.2 inches, this camping pad offers great comfort and cushioning, allowing you to sleep soundly through the night
Cons
  • Insulation is not as effective as other camping pads on the market

Comfortable extra padded sleeping pad for your camping trips

great for that added comfort with that extra padding to sleep comfortably. Self inflating. Just open the nosel located at the foor of the pad and it does all the rest. You do have to blow up the pillow though. As for deflating you have to open nosel and roll the air out and then close the nosel again to keep it deflated while in storage. Aslo comes with a travel bag and elastic securing bands to keep it from unrolling before you are ready to use it.

Pros
  • ❤SELF-INFLATING DESIGN: Self-inflating/deflating free-flow valve; 1.2 inch thickness when fully inflated with inflatable pillow; Ideal for Camping, Backpacking ,Hiking, Travel & Trekking, and Picnicking
Cons
  • Not recommended for those who are allergic to latex

Best sleep I've had camping in years!

Recently used this on a two day hike through a mountain train in Maine, and as a person who hates camping, this MADE my trip. It was comfortable, and super simple. I'm a big guy, 6'3" and 280, and this had me very comfortable. It also packed light and was smaller than my last inflatable mattress (Old army one). The best feature for me as the easy pack up, it deflated in under 15 minutes, while I made breakfast. No struggle. Great buy!

Pros
  • ❤100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE : Each of our inflatable sleeping mats has been through 72-hour leakage inspection before shipping.
Cons
  • Requires extra effort to deflate and pack back up

Not the best :/ best in my review

I really wish I could say how great these are but unfortunately that’s not the case :/ I bought 2 of these for a 30 day cross country road trip for my boyfriend and I, because I knew we’d be camping most of the time. The first night of the trip we used these and I think I had one of the worst nights of sleep ever and I am an experienced camper used to camping for long periods of time. It barely inflated at all and felt like we were sleeping right on the ground. I actually wound up laying all…

Pros
  • The SEMOO camping pad is designed with durability in mind, ensuring it can withstand even the toughest of outdoor conditions
Cons
  • Can be difficult to determine correct inflation level at night

270lbs and 5'11 " for my opinion

I'm a 270lbs 5'11" man.and it is AMAZING slept very comfortable on the HARD FLOOR. The pillow does deflate a little but a neck pillow will solve that issue

Pros
  • Sleeping Bags & Camp Bedding
Cons
  • May not fit larger individuals comfortably

Everything works great, and it is a comfortable pad to lay .

My wife and I searched around for camp pads/mattresses/cots for a while. We are mainly car campers, but don't want to deal with a bunch of "junk" during our trips. We ultimately ended up purchasing this pad. Everything works great, and it is a comfortable pad to lay on. We are excited to take this on our first trip very soon. The only complaint I have is that the size of the pad when rolled up is a lot bigger than I was expecting, and the bag it goes in was ripped when we got it. I was…

Pros
  • The camping pad is suitable for a range of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and trekking
Cons
  • Inflation valve can be accidentally bumped during sleep and release air

Would Not Recommend

When you first get it make sure to inflate it. It took AWHILE . for it to self-inflate when you first open it from the box. I wouldn't recommend this pad for the reason that the air leaks from the valve when I tested. Good thing I didn't use it while camping. The reason the valve didn't work was because the valve was not properly attached to the pad during manufacturing. I had ordered the 2 pack and both leaked. I recommend getting a camping pad from another manufacture.

Pros
  • The self-inflating feature of this camping pad saves you time and effort, giving you more time to enjoy your adventure
Cons
  • Inflation valve can get clogged or damaged

Great Product for my opinion

This is perfect. It works just as the ones that cost way more than this. It inflates automatically so you do not have to get dizzy while trying to inflate it. Since I don't really use the blow up pillow, it works perfectly for me. All I have to do is to open the air intake nozzle and air goes in right away. When trying to deflate it, you just have to leave the air nozzle open and roll it. The air goes out automatically. It is very compact and versatile. It goes right along with my compact…

Pros
  • The camping pad is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring it continues to provide great comfort and support
Cons
  • Not recommended for those who prefer sleeping on their sides

Great backpacking pad for the price!

Few trips so far, no issues, insulates well and surprising comfort. Pillow was best under inflated, you might say it has adjustable firmness.

Pros
  • The camping pad is easy to store and transport, taking up minimal space in your backpack
Cons
  • Water repellent coating may cause discomfort during sleep due to texture

Good but large footprint

The mat is great. Takes a bit of time to get to max inflation. The only issue I have is that it is quite large when folded. It isn't heavy, just a bit bulky. I bought an inflatable one that's gets to the size of a soda can when put away vs this one that is about the size of a big nacho cheese can. Otherwise it is easier to fold and put away because you can snap the buttons together to hold it in shape while you roll it up. The inflatable one gets all crazy and slides around so it's hard to get…

Pros
  • The SEMOO camping pad is perfect for those who want a high level of comfort and support during their outdoor adventures
Cons
  • Can be difficult to adjust inflation level once in use

Takes a couple minutes to self inflate into an inch thick or so, you can also blow into the valve to increase firmness, but I think there is only till certain point you can blow before hearing from cracking sounds.Planning to add this to camping cot. The pillow is a plus but you can leave it out if you don't like the air pillow feel.

Pros
  • The SEMOO camping pad is designed to be compact and lightweight, making it perfect for backpackers and hikers
Cons
  • Not recommended for car camping due to lack of portability

Good but weird plastic smell.

This is a good air mat and easy to clean. The pillow has a weird plastic smell that when I woke up after 6 hours, it gave me a severe headache. The smell eventually went away after a few days. I wouldn't bother using the pillow. It is floppy.

Pros
  • The camping pad is easy to inflate and deflate, making it a great option for those who want convenience and ease of use
Cons
  • Inflation valve can be damaged during use if not properly cared for

not for small - my new review

pretty bulky for what it is. takes up more space than my tent. opted not to bring last trip. ill sleep on the ground if it means saving this much space in my pack for other things

Pros
  • The self-inflating camping pad is designed to be portable, making it easy to take with you on your travels
Cons
  • Can get heavy after prolonged use

Easy to inflate mat, difficult to deflate. Pillow is uncomfortable and hard to inflate and deflate. Very narrow, more for a skinny person. For larger people, with the provided snaps, This would be more comfortable if you had four, two snapped side by side, or one ontop of the other.

Pros
  • Tired of sleeping on the ground, I got this pad and a cot and it worked great.
Cons
  • Not suitable for extreme cold weather camping

Nice mat. Especially good in a hammock.

This sleep mat turned out to be a surprise to me. I was not thinking that it would work well in a hammock but figured it was good for tent sleeping. Fortunately, I was wrong. I actually like its use for my hammock more than I would for tent sleeping. It fit the hammock perfectly and the pillow was very useful and did not get away from me as it usually does with a regular blow up pillow. In the tent the pillow is a bit lacking. But that may just be me as I prefer a pillow that I can move around.

Pros
  • The water-repellent coating on the sleeping pad ensures that you stay warm and dry even in damp conditions
Cons
  • Mattress may not lie flat, leading to uneven sleeping surface
