Mounts without core modules install slightly differently.

Replacement Bracket Bought along with the dual kit as a Father's Day gift. My husband either travels with me or with our son, but we don't usually both travel at the same time, so we only needed two main modules. on the back of the helmet, not on the front. I'm a little embarrassed. The wires for the microphone have to be attached somehow. All in all, a small price to pay for this device that frees up more time for communication between skate buddies.

Great and light good for bikes and weightlifting

They are great, I have three sets for all my rides, I just swap the sena module between sets. I use them on motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles. easy to connect. A must if you want to hear your wife behind you. For the bike I have an open face helmet with no windshield so the mic picks up A LOT of NOISE, enough to say it's useless. To fix this, I took the thumb of a leather glove, cut a small hole in it for my voice, and placed it over the microphone. Make sure you use the included windscreen…

Decent quality could be better though.

We've had the Sena module on our 3/4 helmets for a long time and wanted to add it to our new 1/2 helmets so we could easily use the module with any helmet. Firstly, there are no instructions for this article, so I had to search YouTube for videos. The first helmet took about 45 minutes to fit, the second about 15, so there is some learning curve. Everything works great and seems pretty stiff, with one exception. BOTH devices had the factory Velcro loosening on the mic mount - on one during…

Uneven volume, left side is louder on BOTH devices.

Ordered 2 of these for our new modular helmets which have the downside that the inner visor works exactly where the clip 'should'. "too long" and far from our mouths, the mic boom on our existing clamps is "too short". So we ordered them with wired mics to put them where we need them in the perfect position. So far we have a "problem". " with the speakers. The volume of the right speaker on BOTH terminals is significantly lower/quieter than the left, giving us the feeling that the right side is

Give me a common platform

Conclusion? This is a great mount for most SMH series headsets. I have two SMH10 Communicators and use them on two sets of helmets (road and ATV). This kit allows me to switch communication modules between on-road and off-road helmets. The installation depends on the helmet. Fitting it into my road helmets (Scorpion EXO-900) was a chore. I had to completely disassemble the helmet and drill holes in the side pads for the speakers and route the cables. On the other hand, installation in my…
