The only bad thing about it is the 1 second delay between .

The only negative thing about it is the 1 second delay between the first transmission and the moment you actually hear what is being said. You actually skip a few words before hearing what the other person is saying.

Doesn't play phone media and is delayed when new messages arrive

I hooked this up to a radio and on paper it looks like the perfect solution. Pairs with the phone are connected to the walkie-talkie, and you can use both with a headset. In real life, however, the connection lags - the incoming radio connection is picked up for up to 3 seconds. It also doesn't play media files from the phone - the Bluetooth version is too old. It's just phone calls. It has a lot of potential, but it's not ready for prime time just yet.

I bought it when I went to a group.

I bought this when I went on a group motorcycle tour where I had a Bluetooth device and the rest of the riders had CB devices. I hooked this up to a Midland portable mobile CB radio and it worked very well. I was able to communicate very well with the rest of the group. The only thing I would add is that to get it working I had to buy a CB cable which I thought would come with it. So if you order this make sure you get this piece.

Works exactly as it should

Works exactly as described by Sena. There is a very slight delay in sending audio to the headset when it is first turned on as the device will disconnect from the Bluetooth headset when idle. Once connected, it stays connected for a few seconds to enter additional data each time without delay. This ensures that your headset can still receive Bluetooth audio from other sources such as a phone etc. This feature allows you to turn on and play another signal that you need when connected to GPS orโ€ฆ

  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Too expensive for what it is.

Update: Worked with Sena technical support, recommended to change the block. I'll try that and see if things improve. Works with my Baofeng UV82 but you lose dual PTT option. The interface between the SR10-10 and my Sena SMH10 could have been better. The connection is static even when the radio is off. I had a much better connection between the cheap HB-6A universal wireless Bluetooth jack and my regular Bluetooth headphones than the expensive Sena SR10 and SMH10. The only problem is that myโ€ฆ

Not perfect but very useful

Used to switch from walkie talkie to bluetooth headset for damage prevention work. It is not error free as it loses a constant transmission from time to time. That being said, most of the time it works well enough to keep in touch with my radio and phone while remaining discreet with a regular Bluetooth headset. I recommend getting a high end bluetooth headset like LG or similar as it gives you a better chance of maintaining high quality sound. My only real complaint is that no matter how muchโ€ฆ

Wireless FINALLY suitable for electronics

After a year of hesitation due to some feedback, I finally bought the Sena SR10-10. Previously, I wore a separate, dedicated helmet for bike-to-bike CB communications with a mobile/portable CB radio connected to the helmet's headset. Music, GPS, etc. were streamed through the bike's audio system. Not perfect. Now, with this Sena SR10-10, I get all of that wirelessly through a Bluetooth helmet headset with no issues. I always had an iPhone 7 Plus paired. connected to the headset and the Senaโ€ฆ

Wireless communication with Sena SR10

I was concerned by the claims that Sena no longer supports this as their firmware has not been updated for almost 2 years. But it seems to work fine with my Midland 75-822 CB handheld and my Cardo Packtalk Bold. I sync Sena SR10 with Packtalk as mobile1 and then with my Samsung Note8 as mobile2. All I have connected to the SR10 is just my CB but they have 2 aux that you can use as well. I have all my music on my phone so I don't need the rest. I think you could hook up a radar detector and/orโ€ฆ

Please read - Advice from the owner of 6 units.

Amateur radio operators and motorcyclists. My group bought 6 of these devices so I have more experience with them than the average person posting here. These devices are pathetic and I can safely say that you will regret buying them. What I'm going to say below applied to most devices, so it wasn't an isolated incident: 1) The robot's voice. Sometimes (every few hours?) your voice gets distorted during the broadcast. You won't know it's happening, other people will tell you. If they tell youโ€ฆ
