Sensico M.2 NVME SSD Convert

Very easy to use. Understand I didn't need it. Finally returned it. Not because it didn't work, but because I don't need it for my laptop.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • Clarity

Well done and works great.

If you need this adapter, you need this adapter. It worked flawlessly and was the only adapter that worked with the Samsung M.2 PCIe drive I needed to create the image.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Negative

Good product except

Failed to install SSD update. The adapter fits well on 2015 Macbook Pro and new SSD. The system knew there was a new disk. The exception was that it didn't fit in the external drive case. Failed attempt to update SSD. Yes, otherwise I would recommend this product.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • I will add later

Easy install for computers and accessories

Worked great for installing a 1TB Samsung 870 evo m.2 in a MacBook Air. I did this for a friend and haven't heard her mention any problems. Like others, I used Time Machine to back up the original Apple/Samsung drive, then did a macOS clean install and restored from the Time Machine backup.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Faulty

Helped breathe new life into a 2014 Macbook Pro

I used this to add a 1TB WD Black SN750 to my daughter's Macbook Pro. The adapter fits perfectly. After installation, I used MacO's Big Sur bootable USB drive to format the 1TB drive and install Big Sur. Haven't had any problems so far like a terrible sleeping problem and the machine runs faster than before.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Slightly damaged when opened

This item was packaged in a large bubble mailer along with two other items (a CD and a small 2Wx5Dx2H box). The antistatic bag containing this item had an open slit at the bottom from which the contact side dangled. Today I installed a floppy disk drive in my computer and couldn't get my gum into the slot because the plastic adapter was crumpled. I had to spread it out just enough to properly insert the gum. I'm just waiting for my power supply for my computer and we'll see if the device reads.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Damaged
