I didn't really get what this product was trying to do. I was hoping for a night light that gives low beam at night and then more light when it detects movement. What happens instead is that the light basically turns on or off. There is a mode where the back of the light is on but the front strip is not. I have tried many motion detection night lights and this one is my favorite. The Sensky motion sensor is good for the following reasons: 1) It only turns on when the ambient light is very low. 2) When the Sensky is in very low or no ambient light, a low level LED on the front (side facing the room) will illuminate.
