They are not direct bolt on

They are not direct bolt on and would require me to modify the exhaust system. With that being said, I sent them back and ordered a replacement header. Still, I thought they would be great collectors, they just didn't suit me.

High quality welds in headers

High quality welds, fasteners and gasket material. Works great with stock exhaust on my 1993 Silverado 5.7L. The black finish it comes with is for shipping purposes only and will sting if left on. I sandblasted and cleaned mine with mineral spirits before painting it with exhaust paint. It would be a good idea to install spark plugs before these headers as I had to modify the socket to tighten the #8 plug.

So far, so good! fits manifold and parts

Works great so far. The paint they come with is only to prevent corrosion prior to installation. I stripped the paint with paint remover and cleaned the headers with mineral spirits, then painted the headers with grid silver paint. Got these headlines for a small block Chevy 92 350 swapped for my 91 Grand Wagoneer. I went with a short tube because of potential gap issues, but there's plenty of room.
