Description of πŸ”₯ Pace Setter 70-1327: Enhance Performance with Black Shorty Exhaust Header

CNC-machined, port-matched thick steel flanges provide postive seal at the head and unrestriced flow into the primary tubes. All tubing is mandrel-bent, 16-gauge carbon steel for excellent durability. Available with standard black paint finish or optional ARMOR*Coat metallic ceramic coating. Unsurpassed fit and easy to install with basic skills. Gaskets included.

Not a bad product. Easy to install

Good product. Ease of installation. But my seals broke. Pads are still garbage. Went to the auto parts store and bought better ones.

Wrong Angled EGR Pipe

A good local exhaust repair shop has been trying to add an EGR pipe for some time without success. It was off by 3-4 degrees and nothing matched. The right side was tricky, but once installed it fitted well. Had to use new factory headers and they became paperweights which were basically useless. I would return them if I could

This is a poor quality product that was poorly assembled

Upon opening the box and inspecting the manifolds I noticed that the flanges were nicked in several places. Welds where the primary fittings are connected to the flange shall be welded internally and externally and internally only. Weld spatter covers the entire device. Where the EGR plug should be is a socket. And the rust is punching through the paintwork in several places. This is a poor quality product that was poorly assembled. If I weren't a welder/manufacturer and couldn't solve these…

Pros
  • manifolds and parts
Cons
  • package drilled open

Good fit 1998 Ford 5.4 2v Expedition.

They fit the 1998 Ford 5.4 engine. I bought another brand advertised as such and it didn't work for me. If you are building a Ford 2v 5.4 engine I recommend these headers but you should upgrade your gasket kit. You will most likely need to use one or two of the included screws instead of studs. You may also benefit from installing headers after the block is installed, they stick out more than the factory header and fitting this motor will be tricky anyway. I painted mine over the factory finish
