The diameter of the base is about 1/2". 3/16" thick wall Ruler Foot, which is designed specifically for frame quilting. Fits Low Shank Sewing machines, including Low Shank Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Brother, Janome New Home, Kenmore, Singer, Babylock, JUKI, Consew, Elna, White, Simplicity, etc. Domestic Quilting Ruler Foot allows you to free motion quilt on any home sewing machine with the templates provided, or try the Introductory Ruler Template Sets. Low shank fits all Juki domestic sewing machines except TL-98/2010, all Toyota and Brother domestic machines (except PQ-1500), Bernette. Fits Low Shank Sewing machines, including Low Shank Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Brother, Janome New Home, Kenmore, Singer, Babylock, JUKI, Consew, Elna, White, Simplicity, etc.

Type of review

I only received one if there are two in the picture. After two uses, the "metal" was bent where it met my car's shadow. If the metal is that soft, I wonder if there is some lead in it. I am very disappointed as I had to do a lot of quilting on the ruler.

Poor quality

I rarely give 1 star. (See my other reviews.) I had a plastic foot that I used for quilting and at first I thought it was cheap. I got this leg to follow some patterns I had. Within 5 minutes of use, this foot deformed. I am not stressed. I think there was bad metallurgy. You may be lucky with that leg, but not me. It's cheap so I didn't try to return it. Let the buyer be alert.

I LOVE this ruler foot. I actually use it for general free motion quilting. It works well with rulers. I bought this for my Viking Sapphire 930. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Update: After two months of use this thing has been giving my car nothing but trouble. I had to keep putting it back on because it fell off and my machine gave me error messages "The presser foot was too high" when it wasn't. As a result, the thing literally breaks in half. After that I bought the Westalee line and…
