I ordered these as a budget option to terminate some of the speaker wire I assembled for my second system. The double set screws were just what I needed for the thick wire I was using. They have the advantage that the outer "shell" is screwed onto the locking screws, thus preventing them from being unscrewed or loosened. It's not audiophile quality by any means, but it's a very good option if you're looking for something at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I was very happy with the set I bought in 2012. They create a very strong bond. However, the batch I recently purchased is different. Either the screws are smaller or they are shorter. I connected 12 AWG wire (I measured it with calipers and confirmed it is indeed 12 AWG). When I tried to connect the wire, the screws failed to grab the wire before falling into the center of the connector. It will probably work with heavier gauge wire, but they're utterly useless for 12AWG.
