Worn out shoe grips as there was a lot of ice in the driveway and driveway and I didn't slip and felt completely safe from falls.

Took about 3 times because of housework. Worst of the three brands we tried. The rubber grips fell out first, especially at the foot pressure points.

Ideal for walking the dog or driving in changeable weather. It may not be the best option for heavy-duty or industrial use.

Bought to keep a snow thrower from sliding down a driveway but each tiny spike fell from its mount and turned into projectiles in the snow. If I had enough pieces to return, I would. But all I have is a rubber case and no handles.

Excellent for avoiding falls on icy surfaces. However, the spikes break easily. I literally used the crampons twice to walk down the long icy road to pick up mail. One of the spikes had already broken and had to be replaced. The crampons came with 4 extra spikes but I doubt that will be enough.

The old pair lasted 4 winters in Wisconsin, but this pair lost more than half of their spikes the FIRST time I wore them to walk the dog around the block. I am not satisfied with the purchase judging by the above review. I would come back if I had all the parts.

I love this product! I live in Minnesota and have bad knees. My kneecaps tend to "shift" when I move clumsily. In winter, when roads and sidewalks are covered with ice, standing or walking becomes more of a challenge. This product has helped me a lot to become more confident in winter. I no longer have to worry about moving or hurting myself. I don't even notice when the ground turns to ice. Can't say much about how they hold up on snowy hikes, but if you're looking for an everyday ice solution
