This 2-in-1 baby shampoo and conditioner is very gentle on my baby's hair. It's a more fluid creamy liquid. It foams, albeit less than sulfate-free shampoos. It did a good job of cleaning my child's hair from summer sweat and sunscreen. It smooths and detangles the hair. The scent is unusual and attractive - it's a kind of fruity scent that is very well received. The conditioner is fairly light and works better on short hair than on long hair.
