This is the best round nose I have ever used and owned. I have MLCS, Freud and various other round tips and this tip gives the cleanest cut. It's also lightweight and generally doesn't put as much strain on my router. This lure is so good that I have bought other sizes of white round lures to replace others in my collection.
I do about 10 of these surgeries a month. I typically get over 5000,000 feet of passage with each chisel on aromatic cedar (a very soft wood). They are exceptionally good, outperforming all other end grain bits. Usually the camp goes first. Only one in a hundred will blunt before the camp dies. I have to watch the wood burn where the bearing touches so I know when to change it. I can put too much pressure on my penboards, but I need it to get the results I want.
First purchase and use of a Whiteside cutter. All my nozzles are Freud and Bosch plus a few cheap nameless ones I bought to throw away but ended up surprising me and working so well.
