Overall beautiful ring

I just received this ring as an engagement ring from my boyfriend. It's very comfortable and fits perfectly. The upper part of the stone appears somewhat cloudy. Not sure if this is normal. But overall I'm happy with this ring and I hope to be able to wear it for many years to come.
