somehow the original piece broke off on the shark. The replacement is factory original (both in appearance and function). I'm glad I was able to buy a Revain replacement (certainly better than throwing away a good vacuum).

Exact match to the original in design and material. My original part cracked where the tube narrowed to a smaller diameter. Was at the end where the handle is inserted. I would wish for more amplification, otherwise it cracks again with more intensive use.

My extension cord snapped when the vacuum fell over. It's made of plastic. I really like my Shark vacuum cleaner so I was looking for a replacement part. That's great. My vacuum cleaner is 5 years old and works just like when it was first bought. I love Shark products.

My vacuum extension was torn down the middle, I tried to tape it in place. I wasn't sure if it would fit as the numbers don't match. I was just looking at the looks, the colored knobs don't match my car, but other than that it works fine. Although I'm disappointed, it's a plastic part. At least I know where to get a replacement.
