I bled and checked the water bladder to make sure the water was draining normally and there were no issues. I bought this backpack for an 8 hour hike in 100 degree weather. I liked that there was a lot of water in the bladder and the mouthpiece was easy to drink. The insulated hose didn't keep the water warm, so I had to drink hot water until colder water came out of my bladder. I filled my bladder with ice in the morning to keep it decently cool, but by no means a cold afternoon. Next time I'll add a lot more ice and see if that helps. The pockets are large enough to hold a pocket first aid kit, snacks, and a few other miscellaneous items, making it ideal for day trips and day trips.
