Not a quiet watch, but a good watch nonetheless.

The watch is great. It's really strange to see how it installs itself, but very handy; So easy to read! I thought it would be quiet here. This is not a continuous sweep. The ticking isn't very loud, but I noticed it. If you want absolute silence, don't take this. They are much quieter than traditional clocks, but not silent.

Beautiful watch with a large dial ⏰ but no battery 🔋!

When you first put the battery 🔋 in the slot it tries to connect to the radio frequency, if you are lucky it will be right, if not then let it sit and connect yourself later. The watch ⏰ has a large face and looks beautiful. Very readable from a distance. Now as far as the cost of this watch goes, I was surprised to see that it doesn't come with a battery as a practical factor, just make sure you have 1 AA battery handy. 😉

I gave two stars because.

And Sharp's analog "atomic" clock looks nice. and worked fine for two months. The time suddenly became inaccurate. He did not set the time signal received over the radio. I pressed the WAVE button for three seconds as instructed. and even left the watch out for three nights (for better signal reception). Nothing. He wasn't trying to fix himself. Sharp is usually a good company. But this product. if you want it for constant accuracy. this is a disappointment. I'm going back to lacrosse.

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • A few quibbles

50/50 shot? fits wall clock

I really trusted the reviews on this unit. Sharp is a reliable watch brand so I bought this atomic watch expecting perfection. To my surprise, this watch is made of plastic. I had a cheaper Revain brand watch that was made out of real glass and real brushed metal. It's frustrating that I can't get the watch to find the signal. It spins forever and then stops. It never gets installed. I left it for a few days and it didn't move at all. Eventually I gave up and decided that maybe this is my scope

I like it though. the best thing about the watch

I like this watch a lot but in my opinion it is very poorly designed. First I had to take it apart and manually rearrange the hands to show "straight up" 12:00 when the clock was first turned on (it was about 3 minutes). Thanks to the shiny glass, the clock reflects the overhead light and makes it almost illegible, so I decided to remove the front glass. The clock hands also have a glossy finish and reflect my white overhead light as they move across the lower half of the dial. Since the dial…

I had to fix the position of the hands myself, moreover - good watch

When I received the watch, the time did not set immediately and the signal came the next day. Initially the position of the hands was wrong (the minute hand was on the 1st moon, not on 12 o'clock). I disassembled the watch myself, removed the second and minute hands and after resetting the watch put them back in the right places (exactly at 12 o'clock) and now the watch shows the exact time. Corresponds to the time perfectly, second by second. 4 out of 5, that's all I can give as I had to fix…

Always wrong time

This is a good watch. When the battery is inserted, the hands are automatically set to 12 o'clock. The clock then waits to receive a radio signal with the correct time and sets itself according to the correct time of day. When I put the battery in the watch, it set itself to 12:02. When he got the radio time signal, the time was consistently two minutes faster. The seller sent me an email asking me to leave a good review. I responded by saying how my watch is doing and asking what I can do…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Nothing

This thing is absolute bullshit for any price let alone $40 and yes I followed all the instructions. I thought I was paying too much to get something with quality control. Boy was I wrong. When I first got the batteries, the hands rotate from 3 to 10 minutes to set all three hands to 12. It works, all hands find 12, which tells me the hands are set correctly. The clock actually finds the radio signal, because a few minutes after it starts the "reset dance" to 12, it starts turning again to set…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Negative impression
