Half size I thought I had it, my fault crap. Performance to warm up, not so good. The coffee should be hot after 75 seconds or even 1 minute. Not too much, a normal cup of coffee is a little warm. Everything takes a long time to warm up much less hot. So it's ok compared to my larger Sharp, which was easier to use and had more selection buttons for everyday use. Purchased in April 2017. The unit was working perfectly until yesterday when the unit started sparking and flashing which scared my wife to death. Called Sharp support and sent them a photo of the unit (note they didn't tell me to take it to a service center). They determined that the problem was in the waveguide. This microwave was used daily for about 6 months before the door latch broke (used to open the microwave door). The door wouldn't open at all, so I opened the microwave. The latch was a thin plastic latch broken off the side of the mechanism. I contacted Sharp for a replacement bar and they directed me to a third party that didn't stock it. I'm an idiot because I only read ratings and no reviews. I have just received this microwave and am immediately disappointed that the interior light only comes on when it is in use (cooking, reheating, defrosting). Why is there no light in the cabin when the door is opened? Having the light come on when the door was open would make cleaning easier (you know microwave ovens need regular cleaning).
