I've only had this umbrella for a few weeks and have used it once in a light rain. It opened and closed beautifully. Feels strong and very attractive. Style allows you to sit in the car and not get wet. I look forward to using it in heavy rain and seeing how long it lasts with me. A very small note on the cute shoulder bag design, it would be helpful to make the opening a bit wider as it can be difficult to get the umbrella back into the case if the umbrella isn't wrapped tightly like the first

Order two of these in different colours. One had a bent stem and the rigid black tubing surrounding it had snapped all the way around. The other has a curved "C" shaped handle and a dent which I can't ship as the black finish on it is still perfect. Both have very cheap designs. If you just rock the umbrella, you will feel it bend. This umbrella works great and the design on the back is amazing. Moisture always stays away. I got it just in time when it started raining and I lost my other umbrella. Taking this umbrella with you is easy, you can just hang it on the handle of the basket and it won't get in the way.
