Great drape for my opinion

The capelet was exactly what I wanted. It arrived quickly, in it's own vinyl case. Very happy with this purchase. That's my review.

  • Not as well made as I had hoped, just a simple over-the-head short caplet. I'm disappointed.

Color Didn't Match, but Still Beautiful

I had to purchase a capelet relatively last minute for my brother's wedding. I purchased this color and another dark blue color (from another Ebay vendor) as I didn't know which was going to match (dress was at the tailor and color looks differently online than in person). This color did not match and I ended up returning it the next day (very easy process!), but if it did, it was still made well and would of looked great.

  • Flowed beautifully around my shoulders and I got many compliments on it.
Cons
  • The delicate material may be prone to snagging or tearing

False advertising best in my review

Was really disappointed in this. Nothing at all like the photos. Not sure if there was a manufacturing issue or just complete false advertising.

Pros
  • Excellent fit and matched my outfit perfectly. Drapes completely over the shoulders.
Cons
  • It does not fit the way shown in the picture on me. It is so short it barely goes under the bra area.

"Red violet " is PINK, not purple

I was trying to match a bridesmaid dress. And I know colors may vary slightly due to monitors and whatnot, but on both my cell phone and laptop the color of the "red violet" looked pretty darn close to my bridesmaid dress. I recieved it today. It DOES seem to fit even my plus sized frame in a romantic and flowy way, but this is not purple aka "violet" in any sense of the imagination and will be returned.

Pros
  • This shawl was just what I needed. Very beautiful addition to my white dress.
Cons
  • The sheer fabric may not be suitable for outdoor weddings in windy or rainy weather
