I purchased this tool to use with my Shimano STEPS E8000 system but although made with Shimano's usual quality and craftsmanship the usefulness of this tool falls short of aftermarket offerings. First of all, to use this tool properly, you must use it in combination with an OTHER Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket wrench (e.g. TL-FC32) or similar; It is not compatible with the standard tools you may have in your garage.
