Unreliable and dangerous cleats

According to my experience, these cleats have caused me to fall off my bike several times due to their inconsistent release..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable release mechanism

Unreliable Cleats Ruin Ride

These cleats do not stay clipped in, causing frequent slips and frustration .While they were easy to INSTALL and adjust the lack of stability outweighs any convenience. In Sports and Outdoors, safety is key, and these cleats simply do not provide it..

Pros
  • Easy to use and ensures a secure connection between shoe and pedal.
Cons
  • May require additional adjustments to properly align cleat and shoe.

Safer alternative to SP51

I used the SP51 that came with the pedals. After falling and being stuck in traffic no less, I decided to try these. I find the SP56 spikes to be easier to detach. My pedals are set to the lowest possible tension. Nevertheless, hovering is enough without letting go (more than with the SP51) and kicking up is also no problem. When going uphill, the pedals would not release when pulled up. I use them on my road bike, not my mountain bike, just because I need cycling shoes that I can run in…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will be long.
