This lumber support belt is well-made, fits as expected, and has good quality Velcro. The triangular insert doesn’t seem to accomplish anything. In fact, I find that the belt provides greater support without it.

I just received my back brace today and so far, it works for me. I had back surgery about 5 years and after the surgery, I no longer had any pain. However, for these past few months, my back has been bothering me. I’m not in any pain, but I need good support for my back when I’m gardening. I like the rigid thin panels on the back and also the silicone pad really helps. I’m very happy with product and glad I chose it over all the others.

Pros - comfortable yet supportive, the added pad makes a difference, the additional dual strap system is a real plus from an adjustment/overall support standpointCons - none yet although it should be worn over a t-shirt because it can get warm and I expect would irritate the skin over time.Overall - does the job (supports a lower back strain). This back brace seems to be of good quality. I have severe sciatica and the first time I used it I felt it helped ease my pain. In the following days I found wearing it for a long time made my back hurt, so I cut back on the time.The elastic is very strong. I bought an XL and thought it was too big at first but since I didn't want to bother ordering a smaller size to compare, I've just kept the XL. I actually like the extra overlap. Overall, the back brace is strong and secure around my back and the overlay adds to that feeling. I have bought 2 back braces from a local grocery store and they have worn out really fast due to the typical Velcro. As soon as I put the back support on, I knew this would work. I use it when working around the house and it definitely supports my lower back. I even use it when sitting and it helps my posture.

I have DDD and adult onset scoliosis. I wanted something that would help with my daily movement and this brace is good for the price! It is hot as any brace is but it is what it is. If you want support, you have to deal with some drawbacks.

The "but" here is that when I put this belt on and stretch it out, it leaves long black oil-type marks on my arms and other things it touches. I don't want it rubbing up against car seats or light-colored chairs in my home so for now, I'm limiting its use. Hence, the 3 star rating.

I guess it does what it's supposed to do, but there are no real instructions on how to put it together or how to care for it long term. It comes in one velcroed blob; you think you are tearing/breaking it just trying to get the pieces apart. If it wasn't for the above picture, I wouldn't know the triangle is supposed to point down.

I have several herniated discs and thought I’d give this brace a try. I’ve tried many braces and will have to reorder a previous one but it went through the wash and didn’t work as well. This brace might work well with other people but it actually made my back hurt more. The Velcro is to strong and very hard to adjust. It can get very tight but is not that comfortable. It didn’t support my back as another product has. I guess it’s all on your preference.

Your always going to have some kind of pain no matter what belt you buy if you already have back pain. But I wash it every other day by hand and it has held up. Quality made, great support, comfortable, moves with body, light weight for a girl and wicks most sweat away.
