One end is flush with the start of the marks

A very well made ruler with one end flush with the start of the marks. This facilitates internal measurements. On most rulers, the marks start a little farther from the ends.

Pros
  • Has a hanging hole
Cons
  • I will add later

Sticks well to paper

Good quality. The bottom surface of the foam is held very well by friction against the surface of the paper. The profile is ideal for cutting with an Xacto knife. It made a very straight cut. Much better than a traditional ruler that glides across the paper surface as you cut.

Pros
  • Marking is graduated to 1/16th
Cons
  • Large and bulky

My favorite ruler on rulers

I. EFFING. LOVE. THE. RULER. This is my tool when I cut paper and cardboard. I often work on projects or prepare lesson materials outside of school hours when I'm not very attentive, and I've never slipped or injured myself using this ruler. It has survived regular use and been abandoned for just over a few years and is still in excellent condition. Markers and numbers are still like new and the non-slip backing hasn't deteriorated. The design works very well when the backing holds the ruler in

Pros
  • There is a rubber strip on the back of the ruler to prevent it from slipping
Cons
  • Only available in white
