This case seems strong and well made. The rubber around the sides provide excellent grip. The metal housing seems like it will protect the phone well. This was a good case.for a few months. Easy to get your phone into and it provides a decent grip too. However, the metal edge came unglued from the body of the case as you can see in the photos. It's very sharp and renders the case unsafe and useless. I really like this case. I normally only buy $10 cases so this was a plunge for me. Totally worth it. I like this case as it has the rubber siding with a bevel back of metal. I can at least feel like I'm gripping my phone so I don't drop it. My first case from raptic saved my brand new phone. I set the phone on the side of the truck and forgot to grab it when I left. It fell off around 65mph. After a few hours of searching, I found the phone in perfect condition with minor scratches on the screen protector. This is the best phone case ever! I have always been clumsy with my phones and they always end up cracked or shattering my phone . My phone has dropped multiple times and the case has never broken or shattered my phone. After a few drops the iridescent color may begin to scratch or dent up. I have used this case with my iPhone 11 Pro Max since February 2020. I have dropped it plenty of times between then and now. The other day I dropped my phone in this case for the last time. The case took its final blow. When I took my phone out of the broken case it still looks brand new. My only grief is they no longer have the midnight green color option. Purchased to replace the LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof that I had to throw out. You can read review on that. This new case is lightweight and military grade drop proof. I got the invisishield for the top. Hopefully I never drop it but think it’s safe in this and I won’t miss calls, can use speaker.

I bought this case for the new iPhone 11Pro Max because the Otterbox's were not yet available. I have an Otterbox Commuter on my iPhone XS Max and love it, but the Otterbox can be a bit bulky.The Commuter is a two-piece case. An interior silicon case covered by a more rigid plastic case. The Otterbox has always worked for me.I also like on the Otterbox that the edges are a decent amount taller than the installed phone, even if the phone has a protective glass screen. I'd guess the case is 1/32"
