Very nice helmet - Helmets

Nice helmet. I installed the built-in Bluetooth headset Sena SRL 2. It is in order. Not very loud and tinny sound for music. The air noise in the helmet is a bit loud, but ok. The 2 cost almost $1,000 combined, so you'd expect less noise and better sound. Was it worth the money? Well, almost, but very comfortable and high quality.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Suitable

That's shoi. nothing better. I know because I tested one.

As the name suggests. that's shoi. Nothing better. Two weeks ago, I tested my previous one by landing on my forehead after being thrown into the air by a 24-inch log in the street. It was night and I was driving at over 70 km/h. he didn't rub off. At best, I'd be a vegetable if he couldn't take it. I will never wear anything else again.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Secret

Did you sell me a floor model with no factory packaging?

The helmet fits perfectly and arrived safely. My only concern is that it arrived without the original packaging and only in a helmet bag. Looks like a floor standing model with a price sticker on the sign. I don't mind paying full price for a new unused helmet, but I don't like paying full price if it's a retail model. Also, for some reason the Evo respirator and pin lock were not included in the purchase.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Quality helmet, worth buying.

Of course, a cheaper brand or a dedicated helmet will provide safety and protection. Proper fit and comfort are closely related and central themes. If Shoei suits you as well as me, I would recommend it. I probably won't spend extra money to add a communication system, although the Shoei Air 2 is designed for it. It's well ventilated and while other brands are becoming more quality competitive these days, they've always been top notch.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

High protection helmet

I'm glad I spent the money and bought this helmet. My last two helmets were cheap and poor quality. They leaked air through the visor, the visor mechanism failed, they were noisy, etc. This helmet is stuck, the visor is not breathable, the sun visor is crystal clear and the right shade for sunny Southern California, the micro ratchet strap is much lighter than D-rings and looks great. The vents could let in a bit more air and the micro ratchet strap could be a bit longer, but other than that…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Hard to say

Amazing touring helmet

Amazing helmet. Bought it for trips in and around Canada. Aerodynamics perfectly reduce neck fatigue. The very quiet helmet paired with sena srl allowed me to hear music and gps instead of loud street noise. Temperature ranges along the road were 39 to 82 degrees for 1,500 miles. With Pinlock the helmet never fogs up! Ventilation was good coming into warmer weather. This helmet outperforms my Arai, Hjc and Scorpion EVO in every way. Expensive? Yeah, but what's your head worth in an accident…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Negative gift

Not sure if it's worth the money.

Edit 20210809: Contacted Shoei customer service about the unacceptable noise level and asked for help in troubleshooting after purchase. There is no "because of COVID". Oof, good. Total inconsistency, but it's a good excuse if you don't think about it. Deducted 1 star because I spent too much money. I also need to replace the modular helmet and while I don't know what I'll end up with, I GUARANTEE it won't be Shoei. Edit 20210704: I just added the Sena sound system. Even making the speakers…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Communication with seller
